It looks both the countries are upto some game. If Osama Bin Laden could be found and executed why not Hafiz Saeed, who unlike Laden,
is moving around freely threatening not only India but also Pakistan, the very place he has been using for his nefarious ideas. Is it because only six Americans were killed in Mumbai attack in comparison to 2977 in 9/11? Tweet by President Donald Trump about
the arrest, if not anything, but was certainly a joke.
Which great pressure is President Trump talking about? Hafiz Saeed is not a
“so called mastermind” but he is the “mastermind and the executioner of not only the 26/11 Mumbai
attack which killed 166 civilians including six American citizens, but many other terror attacks in India.
So, now is the time that people stop playing games and do something concrete to bring this international criminal to the books lest he continues espousing terror and exporting his mercenaries to India
and call for Jihad against US. His current arrest for the eighth should not be another sham just like the previous ones. And to do that America has to exert the required pressure on Imran Khan, as India is apprehensive about the end result of this arrest,
which is conveyed in tweet by the MEA spokesperson.
David Coleman Headley’s
account, recorded by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Investigation Agency of India, leaves no doubt about the Saeed’s role in the planning and execution of the attacks. India has repeatedly provided volumes of evidences to Pakistan
but it has always been insufficient to nail the global terrorist and hence as always he is freed by the Court of Law, the way it is put by Pakistan.
Now that charade has to end. Hafiz Saeed is a terrorist and not a professor, as claimed by him. UN has exposed him by designating him as a global terrorist. US has placed $10 million bounty on him. India has provided sufficient
evidence against him. So, the drama has to end and Pakistan has to indict Hafiz Saeed for his wrong doings. Sooner it happens the better it is.
